Qingdao Tianyi Group was established in 2001 and it is one of the key enterprises which are growing very fast in industrial enterprises in Jiaonan during recent years. With these few years’ development, Tianyi Group has become a new type of enterprise with motor, electric tools production, wood products production, real estate development, construction installation, decoration, textile machinery, etl-semko, property management and other industries together and more than 2000 workers. From January to August, the group realized the sales income 330 million yuan, paid 13.8 million yuan for tax, realized 2.48 million profits and goods export 6.424 million yuan, respectively increased 10％、19％、21.8％ and 7％ the corresponding period of last year.

Qingdao Tianyi Group is one of the high-tech enterprises in Qingdao with Qingdao municipal enterprise technology center. During these few years’ development, the group has made a great progress in manufacturing industry and paid much attention to technical innovation development, especially the Red Flag Textile Machinery Co., LD and Red Flag Electronic Technology Co., LTD have made great contribution to technology innovation. In 2004, the group and Qingdao University together established “Tianyi Group----Qingdao University Red Flag Textile Machinery Institute”. In 2006, the group and Xi’an Engineering University signed the cooperation agreement of together establishing “New Type Textile Machinery Research & Development Center” and introduced Xi’an Engineering University “Textile Material Laboratory”. Domestic first air-jet loom dynamic testing laboratory will settle down in Tianyi Group. These two years, the company self-designed and manufactured many series high speed air-jet looms and computer type conereducers. In the textile machinery projects, the group has applied 12 practical new type patent, one invention patent, of which one kind of air-jet looms product was recognized as Qingdao Key Technology Innovation Project in 2006. The self-developed JA－2000 Type Jet Loom full automatic control system was recognized as National Torch Program. The Air-jet Loom exclusive high efficient high speed motor developed by the motor company was recognized as the key new products in Qingdao.

Red Flag Electronic Co., LTD is the software enterprise in Qingdao. For many years, the company is dedicated to the research and development of textile machinery automatic control technology. The products have reached domestic leading level and now the company has developed high level cotton card machine, air-jet loom and other automatic control systems which all adopted integrated circuit and all realized program control with the complete intellectual property right.

The developed air-jet loom has reached the level of the most advanced machine type in Japan and is on the leading position both abroad and at home. The developed 3.6m space width double shafts air-jet loom made a breakthrough of one hour continuous operation on Shanghai National Textile Machinery Exhibition in 2006, which created a record of 96% boot-strap rate and filled the blank of exhibition and achieved sensational effect.

Following the correct lead of Jiaonan municipal committee and municipal government and the scientific decision of the party committee and the board of directors of the group, Tianyi Group has made many outstanding achievements these years. In 2003, the group was rewarded as “Qingdao Hundred Private Enterprises” and “Qingdao Hundred Enterprises”, etc.
